Grape variety:Negroamaro e Malvasia Nera
Vinification: destemming and crushing of the grapes, thermo-controlled alcoholic fermantation with skin-contact for 8-10 days. Pressing and malo-lactic fermentation in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing: in American and French oak barrels of second use for 10-12 months
Tasting notes: ruby red colour with garnet highlights. Spicy bouquet with vanilla and cloves notes, red fruit and plum jam hints. Soft and intense palate, with fine tannins and long finish.
Best served with: ideal with savoury first courses, grilled meat and hard cheese.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C, decant 10 minutes before serving.
Alcohol level: 14%vol.
