Grape variety: Primitivo

Vinification: destemming and crushing of the grapes, thermo-controlled alcoholic fermantation with skin-contact for 8-10 days. Pressing and malo-lactic fermentation in stainless-steel tanks.

Ageing: in American and French oak barrels of second use for 10-12 months

Tasting notes: ruby red colour with purple highlights. Intense and fruity bouquet, with notes of cherry and plum, spicy with hints of tobacco and leather. Soft palate, complex and long finish.

Best served with: ideal with savoury first courses, carpaccio, grilled meat, cheese and salami.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C, decant 10 minutes before serving.

Alcohol level: 14%vol.
